What do I need to enter to add a new payment beneficiary?

1. Their name (maximum 20 characters).
   
2. The name of their bank.
   
3. Their bank’s branch name or code. If your beneficiary banks with Absa, you don’t need to put in a branch code. It is selected automatically.
   
4. Their bank account number.
   
5. Their bank account type. If your beneficiary banks with Absa, you don’t need to enter an account type.
   
6. A description to help you identify the payment on your own account statement.
   
7. A description to help your beneficiary identify who made the payment.
   
8. A cell phone number, email address or fax number to send a notice of payment to. Note that each notice of payment has a cost. See ‘Charges’ for the cost of each payment notification type.
