How do I link a new device if my phone is lost/stolen?
- Download and open the Absa Banking App on your new device.
- Tap I’m already with Absa.
- Tap Log in.
- Enter your access account number, PIN and user number.
- Tap Log in.
- Enter the missing characters of your online password.
- Tap Continue.
- On the verification screen, click or tap I’m not receiving my verification.
- Click or tap I deleted and reinstalled the App.
Note: Your old verification device will be delinked.
- Tap Confirm.
- Enter the passcode that you used on your old device.
- Enter your ATM card number and PIN.
- Tap Continue.
- Enter a nickname for your new device, or click or tap Skip to continue.
- Create a new 5-digit passcode.
- Re-enter the new passcode to confirm.
- Depending on the device that you are using, you may be prompted to enable Touch ID Facial Biometrics.
- Tap Yes to make your new device your primary device.
- Accept the verification request sent to your old device.
- Your new device is successfully linked.
